Who the Influencer Marketing module is for

Brand and social media marketers who work with creators, and agency staff managing campaigns.

Influencer Marketing is Module 20 of 27 in the BIIM digital marketing course and sits in the Growth & E-commerce track. You can take it online from anywhere in India, offline at our Patiala head office, or in a hybrid of both.

How we teach Influencer Marketing, step by step

Every BIIM module follows the same rhythm: learn the concept, practise it on real tools, then apply it to a live business with trainer feedback. In Influencer Marketing, that looks like this:

  1. Define the goal. Decide whether the campaign is for awareness, content or sales.
  2. Find creators. Shortlist creators whose audience genuinely matches the brand.
  3. Brief and agree. Write a clear brief with deliverables, timelines and usage rights.
  4. Measure. Track results with unique codes and links.

Common Influencer Marketing mistakes — and how to avoid them

Trainers see the same errors again and again when students first try this work. Knowing them in advance saves weeks of trial and error:

  • Choosing creators by follower count alone.
  • Overly controlling briefs that kill authenticity.
  • No written agreement on deliverables.
  • Not tracking sales from each creator.

How to practise Influencer Marketing on your own

Find five micro-influencers in your city in one niche. Compare their engagement, audience and content quality.
